...just finding the moments to laugh, make it worth while...

Well, currently I am in my third year as the Lighting and Scenic Professor at West Texas A&M University (WT) in Canyon, TX. As I am working toward my fourth year, I continue to make changes in my curriculum and grow as an artist myself by attending workshops and conferences, by working closely with my colleagues andby learning with each individual that I come in contact with. Prior to WT, I was part of a team of 6 full time employees at Amarillo Little Theatre (ALT). While there, I held the title as Scenic Designer/Assistant Technical Director/Volunteer Coordinator, but being one of six person team for the longest continually operating community theatre, you do a lot more than your job title. I have also had the privilege of working in different capacities in the panhandle of Texas - designing, painting, building, teaching.

More importantly, I am blessed to be married to an amazing, loving, supportive husband - Ryan. We have loved being back in Texas, his home state, but closer to our family. We have two beautiful daughters that can light up the darkest of days with a simple hug or a smile and their laughter (it is the best sound). And I can not forget to add that Mojo, our Weimaraner rounds out our family.

Please take a moment to check out some of my work.
